From November 2 - 4, Kawauchi Campus will host the 70th Tohoku University Festival, with this year's theme encouraging festival-goers to "laugh and bring good fortune!"
Celebrating and showcasing the activities of our students, the university festival includes a variety of food stalls, performances, as well as the crowning of Mr. and Ms. Tohoku University. The event is open to the public and is a chance to find out more about the work of our student community.
Special guests and entertainment include comedians i and , . D.J. and journalist will give a lecture on the "History of EDM and Japanese music" at on October 4 (1:30 p.m.).
Don't miss out on the science workshops held over the weekend, which include rocket-making from pet bottles.
